Nancy Meyer is the only self-proclaimed very disorganized member of Buttoned Up, Inc. This mom can vividly recall struggling to keep herself organized after her divorce 25 years ago. She then faced another major family organizational challenge when she re-married and had to combine families. These events made her realize the importance of having vital information about your life at your fingertips.

Meyer has been running her own company, Historic Restorations since 1998. They specialize in the refurbishing of historic homes in Orange County, California. She became a partner in Buttoned Up because she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with her sisters on this exciting venture.

Meyer, a mother of four children, ranging in age from 37 to 16, has also been blessed with three grandchildren. In addition to keeping track of her kids and grandkids Meyer looks after her 85-year-old mother.

“Living in Laguna Beach, California, I have seen wildfires, mudslides and earthquakes take peoples homes. Some of it happening literally just blocks from where I live. Seeing so many lose so much really motivates me to get prepared for the unexpected. You just never know when you need to grab your important stuff and go,” says Meyer.
