Outstanding post! I&#039;ve been working with expectant couples for the past 29 years and I&#039;m always on the lookout for good articles, tips, and resources to direct my daddies-to-be to.  This article is one I&#039;ll definitely want to share.

Of course I&#039;ll have to say these five parenting skills are absolutely universal and would apply to new moms, as well. :-)

I especially appreciate reading information like this since I&#039;m a single mom and my children&#039;s father simply chooses not to participate in his daughter&#039;s lives at all.  He prefers to be an &quot;absentee&quot; dad.  His loss.  It&#039;s encouraging and uplifting to realize that the majority of dads have all the willingness in the world to parent their precious children.
