Of course I’ll have to say these five parenting skills are absolutely universal and would apply to new moms, as well.

I especially appreciate reading information like this since I’m a single mom and my children’s father simply chooses not to participate in his daughter’s lives at all. He prefers to be an “absentee” dad. His loss. It’s encouraging and uplifting to realize that the majority of dads have all the willingness in the world to parent their precious children.
